Veterinary Medicine
To promote and provide excellent patient care and client education while practicing quality veterinary medicine. As a primary care veterinary facility we are client-driven and therefore strive to build client confidence and loyalty in our hospital, staff and doctor. Our Hospital
Withamsville Animal Hospital is a full service, primary care clinic for dogs and cats. We provide preventative health care which includes annual examinations, blood test screening for heartworm or feline viruses and vaccinations appropriate for your pets health and risk exposure level. We also provide examinations and care for sick pets.
Our office is also equipped to provide dental care including teeth cleaning and extractions when necessary. All dental and surgical patients are monitored by a registered veterinary technician and ECG equipment. During any procedure which requires anesthesia the pets are placed on intravenous fluids during the procedure and recovery phase.
Our surgical suite is equipped for routine surgeries such as spay, neuter, and other soft tissue surgery. We use gas anesthesia and place emphasis on pain management.
In-House laboratory
An in-house laboratory is equipped to provide diagnostics for heartworm, feline leukemia virus, feline immunodeficiency virus, blood chemistry, urinalysis, fecal exams and basic cytology. We have x-ray and surgical facilities in our office.
Pet Products
We carry various products for heartworm prevention, flea and tick control, shampoos and coat conditioners. We carry pet foods specially formulated for various health concerns. Foods which we have in stock are made by companies such as Hills, Eukanuba, Waltham and Nature’s Recipe.
